Energy Saving Recommendations Paper Accepted to UMAP 2018

Our paper titled “Energy Saving Recommendations and User Location Modeling in Commercial Buildings” has been accepted as a full paper publication and presentation at the 26th Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization (UMAP 2018). This is a follow up work to the 2017 paper titled ePrints: A Real-Time and Scalable System for Fair Apportionment and Tracking of Personal Energy Footprints in Commercial Buildings which appeared in BuildSys 2017. This work focused on the formulation of energy saving recommendations in commercial buildings, and the modeling of occupant locations for realizing a recommender system.

ICSL PhD student Peter Wei will present the project at UMAP 2018 from July 8 to July 11, 2018 in Singapore. To learn more about the project, please visit the ePrints project page.
